 Please arrive five to ten minutes before the meeting for security clearance in the Willard Office Building. SVIA’s meeting is in the Carr Office Space, which is on the 4th Floor. Once cleared, please proceed to Carr’s reception desk.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

METRO RAIL. It is two blocks from the Gallery Place Chinatown stop on the DMV Metro System’s Yellow Line, which also serves Reagan Airport (DCA). The Green and Red lines also serve this stop.

AMTRAK AND VRE. It is a 15 minute walk from Union Station and accessible from the Red Line which connects Union Station and Metro Center Station.

UNION STATION. It is a 15 minute walk from Union Station, or a 6 minute Lyft or Uber ride.

REAGAN NATIONAL AIRPORT. It is a 15 minute Lyft or Uber ride from Reagan, and, it is six stops on the Yellow Line to Gallery Place Chinatown Station. By Metro, it is a 25 minute ride.

BWI and IAD AIRPORTS. It is roughly an hour’s drive away. However, Uber and Lyft have increased prices substantially, which may make flights to/from these airports less economical and thus undesirable. From BWI, you can take the MARC train to Union Station and then walk.

DRIVING. Parking rates vary by hotel from $35 to $50 a night.
