SVIA is pleased to announce we’re headed back to Orlando for the 2024 Spring Seminar, which will be held on April 29 – May 1, 2024 (Monday-Wednesday) at the Conrad Orlando in Orlando, Florida. The 2024 Spring Seminar focuses on how market issues, demographic shifts, and global economic and political uncertainty are shaping retirement and financial well-being for our workforce. The Seminar balances these informative meeting sessions with plenty of time for informal small group meetings and networking.

Dress for the Spring Seminar is business casual.

Plan and register now to lock in the best rates for travel, registration and ensure you have a room at SVIA’s conference rate! SVIA has reserved a limited number of rooms at the Conrad Orlando for attendees at a special rate of $359 + $25 resort fee. Room reservations will be made directly with the Conrad Orlando using a link in your confirmation email. To obtain SVIA’s rates and ensure you have lodging at the hotel, all reservations must be made using the link in your confirmation email. Please register for the Spring Seminar and make your reservation before March 28th to ensure you have a space at the conference and a sleeping room at SVIA’s special rate.

SVIA Cancellation Policy

Requests for registration fee refunds (less a $450 processing fee) will be honored only if received before 5:00PM EDT, 30 days prior to the start of the conference. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 30 of the conference. SVIA regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows. All cancellations should be submitted in writing to SVIA via email or mail. All refunds will be made after the conference.

Frequently Asked Questions about SVIA’s COVID Policies for In-Person Participation

What are the SVIA’s precautions for in-person attendance?

SVIA adheres to the local guidelines as well as the CDC’s guidelines for in-person events.

What does this exactly mean for SVIA in-person activities?

It means:

Masks are now optional for in-person attendance,
Face masks are not required when eating or drinking.

What about contact tracing should someone get COVID?

Anyone who becomes symptomatic and/or confirms that he or she has contracted COVID should notify SVIA immediately at events@stablevalue.org. Should this happen, SVIA will alert all attendees of exposure to COVID.

What should I do if I am notified by contract tracing?

If you receive a notification, it means that someone that you were near tested positive for COVID-19 and chose to privately share their diagnosis. The notification will allow you to take action to protect yourself and those around you, like getting tested, seeking medical attention, quarantining, etc.
