This event will combine the latest information on how current market conditions, demographics, politics, and economics are affecting retirement security, defined contribution plans and stable value funds, as well as exploring all the challenges that stable value has weathered as an asset class in its 40-plus years of existence. The Fall Forum takes place October 9-11, 2023 at the Fairmont Hotel in Washington DC, which is located at 2401 M St. NW. The event combines the latest information on the major challenges before 401(k) plans and stable value funds with time to network with your stable value colleagues.

Dress for the Fall Forum is business casual.

SVIA has reserved a limited number of rooms at the Fairmont for Fall Forum attendees at a special rate of $349. Room reservations will be made directly with the Fairmont this year using a link in your confirmation email. To obtain SVIA’s rates and ensure you have lodging at the Fairmont, all reservations must be made using the link in your confirmation email. Please register for the Fall Forum and make your reservation before September 1st to ensure you have a space at the conference and a sleeping room at SVIA’s special rate.

This year, reservations will be made directly with the Fairmont using a special link that will be sent in your confirmation email after you register for the conference. Fees & Costs

Requests for registration fee refunds (less a $450 processing fee) will be honored only if received before 5:00PM EDT, 30 days prior to the start of the conference. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 30 of the conference. SVIA regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows. All cancellations should be submitted in writing to SVIA via email or mail. All refunds will be made after the conference.

SVIA adheres to the local guidelines as well as the CDC’s guidelines for in-person events.

It means:

  • Masks are now optional for in-person attendance,
  • Face masks are not required when eating or drinking.

Anyone who becomes symptomatic and/or confirms that he or she has contracted COVID should notify SVIA immediately at events@stablevalue.org. Should this happen, SVIA will alert all attendees of exposure to COVID.

If you receive a notification, it means that someone that you were near tested positive for COVID-19 and chose to privately share their diagnosis. The notification will allow you to take action to protect yourself and those around you, like getting tested, seeking medical attention, quarantining, etc.
