SVIA, the Stable Value Investment Association, is one of the leading authorities on retirement
investing. The membership represents all segments of the stable value investment community,
including public and private plan sponsors, insurance companies, banks, investment managers and consultants.
SVIA established in 1990, is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating retirement plan sponsors
and participants about the importance of saving for retirement and the contribution stable value can make
toward achieving retirement security.
SVIA is dedicated to providing leadership and representation before the media, educators, legislators,
regulators and opinion leaders, and to providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and discussion of pertinent
issues. The Association is further committed to supporting public and private plan sponsor members in the
fulfillment of their fiduciary obligations.
SVIA's elected Board of Directors sets long-term strategy, oversees finances and governs Association activities.
Board members chair the Association's standing committees:

- Data and Research;
- Events Planning Committee
- Government Relations;
- Membership and Budget;
- Executive Committee.
SVIA holds an Annual National Forum each year in Washington, D.C. The 2005 Annual National Forum was held
on October 19-21 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Washington, D.C.
